The Big Game
I had waited for today as it was the big game.
Would they be victorious or go home in shame?
The Raiders solidly stood on the field.
Hoping they would soon have this game sealed.
Up, up in the air and the coin was flipped.
The crowd did not know which team would be whipped.
When the first quarter ended, the Broncos were ahead by a hair,
The ball had been intercepted, caught high in the air.
Touchdowns were scored after the next quarter started,
The Raiders were down and fans felt broken hearted.
The Broncos were gloating and scored many points,
The Raiders linebacker broke one if his joints.
It didn’t look much better during the second half,
As the Raiders were busy icing their swollen calfs.
It was now or never to do something quick
It turned around on one very straight kick.
With all the noise and the cheers from rowdy Raider fans.
Who screamed and yelled to defeat the Bronco’s plans.
The Raiders needed that motivation to win the big game.
They charged down the field and fought through the pain.
In the last seconds a hail Mary was thrown
The wide receiver knew it was his to own.
Once caught all you could hear was a mighty roar.
That made all the Raider fans spirits soar.
Never give up, never give up, give up never.
That's what I will be saying for ever and ever.
