Winter Was

Wrestling with friends and rivals alike
And feeling the glory of victory
Enduring the long setup of Christmas decorations
And enjoying the familiar Christmas tunes
Embracing the coziness of the indoor world
And the sweet scent of pine
Accepting the cold of the freshly fallen snow
And crafting intricate snowmen and glorious snow angels with my siblings
Tearing the anticipation off of brightly wrapped gifts
And spending the break with my family
