Soul Suicide

I think of the days when the angels sang;
back when my innocence took the reigns.
My heart was on fire,
passion ran through my veins.
But those days vanished when the demons came.
They spoke of the hatred.
They spoke of the rage,
and they told how it ignited our new age.
They told the story of how the angels swore,
to protect us all from Hell's dark door.
But Heaven fell,
and God was no more.
So we'll live forever in a firey war.
