My dreaded friend
Every now and then it tries to escape
The darkness
It comes out from inside of me
It fills my head
With dark, menacing thoughts

It pounds my head,
Makes my fingers go numb
I push them out
Or at least I try
It works most of the times,
But every now and then my friend
I call darkness comes and visits
