Climb
Fall changes to winter,
like the person in the mirror that’s perched in front of me
Sometimes she’s smiling,
but sometimes she’s sad
I swear she’s okay,
but sometimes she’s far from glad
We wish we can help ourselves,
but sometimes we fall into the dirt-filled pit of despair,
It’s not about if we fall in,
but if we get out and rise again
the girl in front of the mirror
has dirt under her fingernails,
but her face wears a smile
The girl before me is strong,
the girl in front of me is crying,
but I don’t understand why
maybe it’s the scratches on her body,
from the strenuous climb.

I hope to have you understand this, I hope you'll care. Promise yourself that when you fall through the pitof despair, you'll still be there.
