Silence is the sound of the soul<br /> <br /> -Me

So...the bloody ink disappears
down the dusty traces of
the flying solvent;

laid down upon the graves
of death by
another harsh human shove;

these petals when dazzled
like the drops of love
firmly held upon and fed;

these petals now rigid
as the sky of hell
supine and serene— unlooked-for;

that's the way humanity goes
down that heart
of a human;

that's the way conformity goes
down that vein
of a rose;

taking those unreceived gazes
those flat-wet boots; forgetting
the message of love.
