Again And Again
On the outside she tries to look fine, happy and tries to have a smile everyday
But little do they know that on the inside she feels empty and crushed
because all that she can think about is
how did all this happen, how did this happen?
she asks herself over and over again
feeling confused as if she was the city and they were the tsunami
that destroyed her.
And the saddest part is that she can’t change it,
not one bit no matter how hard she tries.
she tries and tries but can’t.
All she can say is thank you and
appreciate that fact that they didn’t take the last little hope
that remained inside of her but,
rude things were being said in her mind over and over like
her favorite song, kept on replay.
When all she wants is to be happy again.
