She Became Stelliferous
It was a dangerous thing that captured her soul,
It made her laugh louder than before,
It caused her to drink more deeply of life’s waters,
It allowed her to question everything.
It was a tumultuous thing that stole her heart,
It made her cry more often than before,
It caused her to contemplate the point of life at all,
It allowed her to feel everything.
It was a fanciful thing that whisked away her mind,
It made her think more deeply than before,
It caused her to live like life was a dance under stars,
It allowed her to dream of everything.
It was a finite thing that sapped her strength,
It made her more vulnerable than before,
It caused her to think that in life she had time,
It allowed her to forget everything.
It was beautiful think that took her away,
It made her more herself than she was before,
It caused her to believe in something beyond herself,
It allowed her to be everything.
