Four Aged Wheels
They are what takes me one place to the next. I am the only one to ride them. Four aged wheels with filth and chipped rubber. Four wheels with nowhere to go without a kick and push. Four aged wheels with no limit to speed. From top of the hill to the bottom, the rider has no fear, only dare.
They're small but speedy. They speed through twigs, leaves and pebbles. They roll up to down, curve to drop, speed keeps them moving. rolling with smoothness.
Four aged wheels taking one lucky rider to a new extreme, a possible death wish, but the ride of a lifetime. “Faster, faster, faster”, I yell. They accelerate.
When I am too bored for anything or too urged for adventure, I grab my board and go. Four aged wheels, blazing through the night in an empty street. Four aged wheels touching nothing but asphalt and cement. Four aged wheels with only one task. Four aged wheels, only existing to find new adventure.
