Dear Brother
My brother, the best brother that a girl can ever have
The only boy I ever knew who could really make laugh
Brother, oh brother why did you leave me
The only one who taught me how a boy is supposed to treat me
You are the only person who would teach me right from wrong
When I was home all alone
I called you to hear your voice
But one very horrible day it's like you never really had a choice
Your love was as beautiful as day is long
Brother oh brother your music made me smile
The only thing that got me through the day when I was in denial
You sung to me, you made me dance
The only one who would let me be
The only one who truly loved me for me
When people were constantly on my back
You pushed them off
You were my rock
While you were boom boom booming the music while we were in the car
You left an imprint on my life or maybe a scar
That no other can ever leave
Brother, Oh Brother Rest in peace
But while you rest it’s like a piece of me is resting too
But the only thought that get’s me through life
Is knowing that one day I will rest with you
