Just because I'm a teenager
Doesn't mean I sleep in 'till twelve
Doesn't mean I am unmotivated
Doesn't mean I love to party
Just because I'm a teenager
Doesn't mean I'm rebellious
Doesn't mean I'm destructive
Doesn't mean I'm disrespectful
Just because I'm a teenager
Doesn't mean my opinion matters less
Doesn't mean my troubles are insignificant
Doesn't mean my voice doesn't deserve to be heard
Just because I'm a teenager
Does that mean I have to be full of angst?
Must I be stuffed into a category?
Am I not considered a full person yet?
My age doesn't define me.
