Angels Among Us
That was the last time we saw her.
She was dancing, and prancing.
It all changed that night.
There was no longer light, but fright
On how we could continue living.
For the pain we felt in our hearts,
We cried at the mention of her name, lost all hope.
There would no longer be any dancing or prancing.
For we lost a piece of our hearts that night.
We grew, and through our loss came hope.
Hope for the family.
And th friends, for her especially.
We fought like hell together,
remembered what she stood for.
There will be dancing and prancing,
But this time it would be at heaven's door.

Loosing one of my best friends in a car accidet last year was a horrible expirence. Thankfully I had great support from my family and frieds, and though my english class was able to express my greif. Poetry is a beautiful thing, and has gotten me though both wonderful times, and difficult ones.
