you are who you make yourself to be, not what others say<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> -unknown

Glue is what people use to keep things together

But with our masks, we glue them with our crystel tears and built  upfeelings, pain

Most walk with plastic on their face so they can cover their fears and pain

Many will cover their eyes, so that man truly wont see their heart ache, their soul

Everyone will put on a differnt mask, to hide uniqueness of what they really are, all differnt masks, but all with the same goal

Whether you see it or not, want to see it or not, we all walk around with fake smiles, blank expressions, forged happiness

Yet when someone gains an ounce of courge to walk the day without it, they are shammed and looked down upon

They will be laughed at, down sized, teased, only because others wish they were brave enough to remove theirs

Allthough somtimes the wind changes patterns, and that person creates comotien

There will be some who comfort that person, love them for eho they really are with out the mask

Alas, it is very difficult to know when someone has truly trashed their mask

Or if they are still hiding behind a peaice of plastic, that will one day melt from the heat of the kept feelings

This poem is so realistic and amazing it made me tear up to think that someone can be this talented and i love their perspective on life. This is so true and meaningful i might just print this out and put it on my wall, so i can remember this forever as a life lesson!
