My Friend
I have a friend
Who says she’s ugly
When she’s not
She has been through a lot
She cry’s herself to sleep at night
And when she’s angry
She wants to fight
Her life was never fun and games
All she wanted
Is for the pain to go away
Her smiles are fake
Her laugh is saddened
Her heart is weak
And her soul
Depress-end
I miss the happy her the way she skipped in the sun
But at night all her smiles
Are gone
Her heart is deepened
With a sad depressing song
One thing about her
You do not know
Is that she was me
All along
