Why
Why do I love you so?
You ask me
Desperately wanting to know.
Believe me when I say,
I can't tell you why.
I am trapped by your love,
And chainded to your side.
You beg me to go,
You beg me to stay.
It would help me to know,
Do I stand in your way?
I scream and shout,
Longing for you to hear,
How badly I yearn,
To have you near.
But silence is spoken,
When you're wanting to know,
How truly,
I love you so.
