There she stood in silence
The sight was ineffable,
A mixture of orange and red flickers shined in her eyes,
A plethora of flames and smoke smothering the wooden shed.

The bright colors of the fire fascinated her
The back and forth motion of the flames intrigued her
The cracking of the flames was melodious to her ears
and aroma of the wood under the influence of the fire was addicting

Oh how she loved fire so, it relieved her tension,
It helped her escape reality,
All of her worries disappeared when she looked into the fire,
She was calm and at peace when she was near open flame,
After the fire goes out she feels sadness and anguish to set another,

She would even set her hands to fire with alcohol upon them,
The feeling of the sanitizer burning was felicity,
And she would hold lighter close to her face,
The danger exciting her.

She cant explain why fire makes her feel this way,
It just does,
Fire,
So beautiful,
Yet so destructive.
