Confident
There was a time when I needed confidence
There is a time I needed love
There is a time when I need comfort
A black women should feel comfortable with her skin
She should feel acceptable just as others
She shouldn’t feel like a disgrace
Everyone is different she should feel her color can be as beautiful as you
No secrets no lie I see it in her eyes
The fear that her color isn’t like others
She can’t feel as pretty as the other girls they won’t let her
Likes don’t matter it is how u feel
Why care what the next person thinks and cry
Why look at yourself and wonder why
Clothes don’t make you, Personality does
Be happy everyone is different don’t look away don’t hide your face
Or your color of a black women.
