The Pain I Feel
The pain I feel about your treatment doesn’t remove the fact that you need our healing. You hurt many of us and if I let you die then my heart would be cold as ice. (Simile) You beg for your life while we keep begging for our rights. You fought like cats and dogs (Simile) for my forgiveness but I didn’t let your forgiveness in. You fished in trouble waters (Metaphor) not gaining respect from not only me. The day on gets worst from there because you know what comes next, a lonely night eyes closed In a deep sleep, thoughts gone worries gone and you can’t hear a peep. (Imagery)
