Shadows shuffle in monochromatic leaves
Sunlight bends between tall oak trees
Crickets chirp with the sigh of a breeze
Kids laughing, happily at ease
Crisp air chills through skin and hide
Warm sunshine heats with a power that is bona fide
Smoke tingles the nose with an abrasive scent
The floral perfume of roses wafts with nothing pent
All these sentences fit without pattern tore
A common thread that runs through their core
To every darkness there is light
and a night for every day
