Her Shoes
Walking in the shoes of her you can see it
The Pain from the past
Still runs through her mind
In the eyes of others it's nothing
But the past kills her
The memories on replay
When she sleeps
When she cries
When she's happy
It’s there lurking in the shadows
Looking for her happiness to kill
She fights back
Trying to forget
She still stands
Yet never forgetting
The pain from the past
A neverending pain inside her head
Calls to her
Saying her name again and again
Until she is forced to remember
To be depressed
To have no heart
To give in
To never care again
Hanging from a thread
On the edge of insanity
Prepared for the end
