What is the use of a house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on?
[Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)

Memories of summers,

And children who sing.

The autmns right after,

The fun it all brings.

Speaking stories of good times,

and the joy it creates.

Filling air with laughter, warm sweaters,

And fast rollar skates.

Then soon getting colder.

And winter is here.

With hot fires and family,

and holiday cheer.

But when the snow melts,

will we see it again?

Because spring will soon come.

And winter comes to an end.

So we look back and see,

The years stress and strife.

But our discomfort will end,

and we'll get on with our life.

And to our problems we'll tend.

And realizing then.

With calendar pages turning,

And all of us learning,

The changes that come,

With each day and month.

With holidays,

Grandparent's stays.

Trips to far lands,

Writing, typing with hands.

Reading our own creations.

Stay at home vacations.

Everyday holds something brand new.
