I had that dream again
I had that dream again, the one where I killed her.
I know it is just a dream but it doesn’t feel like one. It feels like a memory. The rumors about her have died down now, all of society moving on to another piece of drama to feed on. I hear their fake apologies, they don’t care, they never did. I remember her.
I had that dream again, the one where I killed her.
What happened on that cloudless night? The dream is vivid and I’m starting to get worried. Did I kill her? They say she wasn’t shot but beaten to death. Was it me? I’ve always known her, we were supposed to be friends till the end. I remember her.
I had that dream again, the one where I killed her.
Her family grieves. I can’t sleep. Is the killer me? Where was she? Where was I? Where was he? When will this be over? When will I be free?
I killed her.
