He stretched his arm out to feel her,
touching her soft glossy lips.
Touching her lips with not just his hand.
Reasons, passion, life
Deep breaths and goosebumps
Closing eyes like it’s midnight
In a dream but a dream that is real
Standing on her tippy toes,
pushing her hair to the side by him
Shaking
Holding on tight
Not because you have to
but because you want to
Fingers interlocking
On fire but frozen
Don’t kiss and tell unless it’s real-
it was.
Together they are one
Cool air
Hot sun
Chilly ground
Cold world
All year-
Them two
