I.

The white and black painted cow.
The four legged, beautiful creature,
with those soulful brown eyes.
Standing in the dark steel stall, not even big enough for her to turn around in.
She stands in the steel stall with the desire to live,
with the desire to find happiness in this world like any creature on the planet.

II.
The white and black painted cow.
The farmer watches.
The farmer watches from outside the many steel stalls as the cows,
Munch! Munch! Munch!
on of the large piles of modified grain.

III.
The white and black painted cow.
The worker of the slaughter house can only look at this sad being and feel bad for her,
With the swift carving of a knife or an iron loop around the animal’s neck,
her life ends.
All for for the sake of the company, demand of the consumers, and a paycheck.

IV.
The now piece of dead corpse.
The chef adds a sprinkle of seasoning,
then fries it up on the sizzling pan.
Wallah!
It's food material, just by adding a bun.

V.
You order the restaurant's specialty hamburger,
It's delicious, it's juicy,
It's worth the 8 dollars you paid for it.
As you bite into it,
You try to convince yourself that you are not responsible for any of it.
You try to convince yourself 8 dollars is a good deal for a piece of an animal's life.
You try to convince yourself that it's only a hamburger, right?
