My sin, My soul
His nectarous tongue cut me
like the shards on the ground.
Words crawl from his sateen lips
as if enunciating is agonizing.
The beer he had for breakfast spills onto my algebra book
as he blindly fondles my hair.
He tugs on the leash,
dragging me onto the frost.
I lie on my spine,
memorizing the pearls that are suspended in the sky.
He tells me to make a wish
so I do.
