The Fight

Knocked me down
Your piercing words struck through my heart
Feeling sad and alone
With no one to turn to
Yelling back and forth
Shooting down my confidence
With every hurtful word spoken
Tears rushing down my face
Thinking I won’t let him do this to me anymore
Becoming like the Hulk
Stronger than ever
You were kicked out of my life
Finally happy and better off without you
