October
Suddenly it's October again, so crisp,
windy, yet sunny.
I walk on the ground
in the midst of the leaves.
Watching the colorful trees
as their leaves fall upon me
and I walk atop them.
They are so crusty that they crunch below my feet.
So cold and shriveled up, yet beutiful.
From the swift winds of the North.
The colorful trees bend in my way.
A warm welcome they give.
And I feel that I am in the heart of autumn
beating in the chest of October.
Chromatic leaves cover me there
in the middle of the barren, cold ground.
And my own smiling face
fills me with joy.
