If you sit on your leg too long, it gets tingly or numb,
But does the same thing happen with your heart?
If you ignore it will it fade away?
Or will it get bigger and bigger until it explodes?
Will it shrivel up and take you with it?
Or will you become frozen to the wild that is love?
How many times can it be washed clean, renewed?
How many times can you?
Ghosts have hearts too;
There are ghosts with everyone,
And maybe everyone is a ghost
Be kind
Be kind to the ghost in your heart
And be kind to the ghosts in your brain
Because maybe the ghosts sat too long on their feet
And maybe their hearts are numb too.
