Under the shadow of a great giant,
A brilliant sparkling lake lies dormant and pure,
The birds sing in the greatest of harmonies like the violins in an orchestra,
Flower buds burst open creating a new form of life.

But then comes man,
With his tools and metal and mind of destruction,
Pumping the lake from its purity,
Inch by inch the lake withered.

Now that man has done his damage, nothing remains,
The trees that bloomed brilliant colors lie scorched and lifeless,
The chorus of birds that sang no longer sings,
And the brilliant sparkling lake is just a sad dull pond,
Under the shadow of the great giant.
