She walks with confidence hidden down deep
She cries her tears where no one can see
Her life has been far from easy 
Father has done wrong
Mother won't believe
Lives with aunt and uncle but not easier you see

She has lived a life full of tears and pain
Left suffering with no one to talk to
Hard life, beyond words
Lessons never soon to forget
Lashes and bruises hidden in fear
The pain whisked away in all the shed tears

Hands used to hit and threats used to hurt
The wishes and dreams 
Only a child when her childhood was taken away
Friends don't understand parents just don't care
Love longed for, a fair weather friend needing to be gone
Who will give the time and effort to listen, understand?

Razors are sharp and cuts are deep
Scars are forever and love shall  become
Doesn't understand, but we don't understand
Needs someone to genuinely care
Needs her cuts cleaned

Needs her wounds to heal
Her life to be hers
Tears not to leave her eyes
No more crying for her, only smiles
Only rainbows can go through her mind
No more fear no more pain
