A Place Called Home
Things were better here,
Much better.
It was a place called home,
Where the greeen grass lifted our feet,
As every moment of ours lives changed,
Like the blooming of flowers on Sunday morning.
A place where our mother yelled at us to come inside,
where frames of every member hung from
unwell painted walls that surrounded me with nothing,
but complete comfort.
Things were better here,
Much better.
