This is for the people, who feel unwanted or neglected,

Those who must deal with the broken bones and the bruises,

The ones that miss a meal because they are scared to face their parents

So be quiet and listen to what I have to say,

AS  I go back to that oh so terrible day,

My dad always yells,

My mom never tells,

That night I walked away with broken bones and bruises,

got in my cold, black, bed and let it consume me,

As I feel the dark shadows on my skin, I begin to let the tears crash down on my pillows.

Since that day, this one's for them

The ones who are neglected and unheard

You are the definition of a hero,

Going through the pain you have been through, the pain you didn't deserve.

Most treat you as if you are a zero, but you are a hero.

Don't let them push you down,

Stay proud, talk loud, you have surived when most can't

You are strong and deserve it all

You're a survivor,

You deserve to be higher,

You are your own hero.
