sunset
a pop of color,
catches my eye
the sky is now suddenly,
a mesh of colors
that paint a smile
upon my face
I can feel a rush
of orange and pink,
energizing and cleansing
my soul
breathing comes easier
there is a sense of calm
the universe appears to be at ease
but only for a couple minutes
of peace and inspiration
the sun calls to the moon
and a moment later,
it is night
