I took the bottle
The same bottle my father had promised to put down time after time
I put it in my right hand and tipped it back
So far back i almost choked on the liquor
But i stood there swallowing
Gulp after gulp
I didn’t care what it took or what i had to do
Alls i needed was to forget all the memories of you
