I wanted to show you the courage that courses through their veins.
Did you see how much they trained?
I wanted to show you their dirty clothes
From fighting with their foes,
I wanted to show you their sweat
While running away from the threat
I wanted to show you their faces
Their happy look erases
I wanted to show you the brave men
You should notice them now and then,

Did you see the place?
Where they walked with their poker face,
Did you see the things they carried
They are all stained and they varied,
Did you see their hearts?
Yearning for the American soil?
That could’ve been us,
But they went instead, thus,
We should notice these brave men
Who we commemorate now and then

These soldiers are walking across the woody field
Where they are concealed
These soldiers are scanning
Thinking and planning
These soldiers protecting our country,
Standing tall, so gently,
Raising their heads,
So proud to serve and proud to be
