and rays of light
streaming through the crevices
impacting personalities
Illuminated pathways, gardens, and creeks
rainbows and roses,
nothing to deceive.
Crashing glass, swaying trees;
Ultimately, a broken gleam.
Eyes that resembled ecstasy,
lay on the sinister play.
Gashes of stress, worried red streaks;
Sea of color, pooled near the feet.
Bones of a butterfly, flying low,
Head hung high, victorious foe
Lumps of stones, mind in a haze.
Murky nights, no light at bay.
Serene reflexes
exposed windows
Hallelujah!
Clogged up senses, thoughts of bliss
rays of light, illuminated pathways
Gardens and creeks.
