Invisible
Invisible. You felt as if you were invisible to him.
Like he never noticed you or even looked your way.
You thought he was the most gorgeous human being ever
You saw him everyday as he walked on the bus. He would walk by you.
You would stare at him without him noticing.
He would smile as he walked by,
his smile glistening in the sun
Until he caught you staring and just smiled.
You couldn’t help but smile back at him,
your smile was as big as a kid’s on Christmas
You felt like you, for once, weren’t invisible for those couple seconds.
You pondered upon that moment for days.
Wondering what he thought about you.
You have never talked to him but feel like you’ve known him for years.
Like you know everything about him.
You feel like this whole thing is weird,
the feeling of it is different
Even though he has no clue what you think of him.
Whenever you see him your cheeks turn as red as an apple.
Your stomach is full of butterflies, flying rapidly inside.
You hope he doesn’t think you’re creepy for staring at him.
You want to explain how you feel about him to someone else,
but just don’t know how to explain it.
Then you decide to just keep it to yourself,
hoping this would just pass.
Until this day you ponder upon that moment,
wondering if he will ever talk to you or look at you.
Until this day you wonder what he thought of you,
feeling like you will never know and wonder about it.
Until this day you feel as if you can’t get over it,
feeling as if you two should have been friends.
Or maybe even something more...
