All The Way
She was always just a little behind
she was trying to fill her mind
She tried and tried
She never got all the way there……
But still
she made it farther than expected
proved a few people wrong
blossomed into a flower
She was one all along
although she never made it
she was happy to be where she was
always going forward
not looking back
acing every test
going way above level
climbing a little bit harder
reading a little bit longer
screaming a little bit louder
until someone noticed…..
she was right all along
she had made it in
but then she realized
she never really needed it
she had tried so hard and it lead somewhere great
her original goal
no match for fate

This was from my childhood. I was always somewhat "behind" my friends in a way. I was always so bothered by this, until one day, I let go. That was my greatest descision. I hope that readers can be inspired from this and know that they can always strive to do their best and that they can achieve thier goals.
