When I see the American flag, I think of our strong military branches. I think the flag is what the American flag means. The flag represents the beginning of America when we fought off the British to claim our independence. The flag would not be standing today. We wouldn’t have any independence if we did not build an army to defend against the British. If the British would have one then There would be no America and no

The flag shows we are one nation because of our victory with the British so long ago. I see the flag and think of wars or conflicts we have been in to defend our country. I think of the service, people willing to die for the freedom of our country. They fight to keep our flag standing.

The flag is what keeps our military going, showing we have a country worth fighting for. If our flag wasn’t there, we wouldn't have anything to fight for because there would be no country to protect. It would mean that we have no country to protect. I think of the people who died fighting in wars to protect our country and the people in it. The flag represents the bravery of the people protecting America. Every branch is needed to help in a war. Our military branches work together for success. All of the work done from our military is for the protection of our country.

When I hear the national anthem, it makes me think of the fallen soldiers, I feel almost like i am praying for the fallen soldiers when I put my hands on my heart and look at the flag. The flag is our country and we show respect to it whenever we sing the National Anthem or say the Pledge of Allegiance.

I look at the flag and think, These people serving for us, don't know us, but they serve because they care for the peace and freedom in America. They serve to keep the flag standing. And the flag stands to show we have a strong military.
