The My World Was
You cross my mind more than you think;
I wonder what you’re doing,
Where you are,
What your thinking.
I wonder if you still listen to our song,
If you still visit our place,
If you still think of me.
I wonder if you see me when you close your eyes,
If I make you lose sleep,
If you dream of me.
I wonder if you regret it,
If you want to take it back,
If you want to start over.
I wonder if you still need me,
If you still want me,
If you still care.
I wonder if you still love me.
Do I still cross your mind?
Because I’m thinking,
In my room,
About you.
Because I still listen to our song,
In our old place,
And think of you.
Because I see you when I close my eyes,
I lose sleep,
I dream of you when you stop running through my mind.
Because I regret losing you,
I wish I could take back what happened,
I want to start over.
Because I still need you,
I still want you,
I still care.
Because I still love you.
