Seven Ways of Admiring Black
I see her staring at me.
Pulling me in,
surrounding me
an almost comfortable feeling
like a sheet wrapped tightly around my body.
She is a deep abyss
a bottomless pit of
vast bitter despair.
But, so peaceful at the same time.
She represents the deceased
the afterlife…
if there is one
sucking people in
one
by
one.
She is deep below the earth
wedged in between rich soil
compressed into a dark slate.
She is classy
persistent
Exemplifying elegant arches and bends.
Sharp yet chic.
She is mysterious
yet majestic at the same time
Filled with many unspoken thoughts
overwhelming the human mind and soul.
She is an unnatural force of nature
devouring the deepest darkness
overpowering you
cutting off all light to your soul.
