The leaves are turning orange and red
And the winds stings your face a bit more
The weather's colder, you shiver more
And there's a twinge of pain in my heart
Because autumn and winter
Are reminders of pain I've felt
Wounds are healed but still fresh
Re-opened by the weather changes
Life now offers me
