GREED
greed is a stomach that is never full
the bottomless pit of greed consumes all in its path
it swallows all honor of compassion as it stomps out the ideas of equality like a fly consumed by the bug zapper
the peaceful fly blindly flies into the light burning up into a crisp and falls into dust and becomes one with the thick black smoggy air around it
corrupt priests and government officials extort public funds like a tainted needle plunged into the earth
and extracting our resources and leaving us soulless,
people's eyes are controlled by screens made by tiny broken fingers
that connect us to another soulless people as the greed steals our wallets out of our back pockets
