Empty Milk Cartons
Empty, like all other planets in our solar system.
At one point, it brimmed,
filled with the liquid of life.
Manufactured with absolute precision;
identical to every one of itself in the universe.
Crafted with utter brilliance,
it shows the gap between the presence and the past.
Convenience is enough to bring envy into hearts;
the hearts of those who lived in the past.
It served it's purpose.
Now it rests,
patiently waiting to become of use once again.
