I smile because im happy

I smile because i'm happy
or that's what i want you to see
i go through the day with everyone asking how i feel and i say oh i'm ok nobody know my pain or how im hurt
but as long as i smile it will hide everything what you see
is what you get i'm ok my smile will prove it all my smile is here to keep me going as long as i smile you dont ask so lets keep it that way.

My teacher made us do it as an assignment that day. I wrote how I was feeling at the time. What they will get from my poem is some people can hide a millon things in their smile.
