I Know
i know that
one day
things will change
i know that
i won't have to
worry about whether or not
it will be a good day or a bad day
i know that
in 20 years
it will feel like your life flashed by
in the blink of an eye
i know that
by the time i'm 70
my only worries should be
what flavor oatmeal to eat
or what color yarn to use
i know that
one day
things will change
i know that
one day
i won't be here
and that's OK.
