My Mask

When I moved,

I felt sad and I missed

everything about my old town.

So, I wore a mask

that always smiles.

At night

I would dry,

But during the day

I would put on me mask

and say "I'm fine".

I had made many friends

and they were nice,

But sometimes

it reminded me of my old friends

and how much I missed them,

and I could feel myself breaking down.

So, I wore my mask that always smiles.

There are times

when I can put down my mask,

when I'm really laughing and having fun.

But will I always have the mask

just incase it stops being fun.

So, I will wait and pray

that one day,

I can put my mask down

and stop crying.
