People say grow up,
but I want to stay young.
People say be yourself,
but then they judge me.
People say they know you,
But really they want to know you.
People say to be happy,
But then they make you miserable.
People say face my fears,
Just to create new ones.
People say to never worry,
Just to mess with your head.
People say face it’s okay,
even when you’re hurting inside.
People say it’s easy,
even when it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
It doesn’t matter what people say.
What’s true. Is you.
