Fool's Gold
Just because you're not plastic
Doesn't mean you're not close to perfect
In fact be as real as you can be
I want to know where each freckle is, even the ones lining your spine that help me remember where you like your back scratched
Tell me genuinely how you feel but I don't need to remind you because you always say "You're mine and I'm yours"
I want to savor you like a chocolate bar made with 90% cocoa
This feeling is bittersweet
But you keep me hanging by a thread
Because not only are you addicting and pure
But you're a precious jewel in this world full of fools gold
