8 hours
Eight hours spent on a airplane
the anticipations has been building up
it felt like years i’ve been on this plane
finally we made it
ten hours of traveling
we finally made it
we walked out of the terminal
the jet lag is catching up with us
we grabbed our luggage that felt like heavy stones
we walked out of the airport
only to be greeted with hugs and kisses
the weather was exquisite
nice and sunny without a cloud in sight
as we drove, we were on the coastline
miles of beaches
the waves crashing
onto the rocks
we finally made it to the house
when i entered it
my grandma was there
she looked at me and said as clearly in silence
as if she spoken
but i knew what she said
i walked up to her and gave her a hug
